Complie error in hidden Module: Global Marco

Hi Team,

We have an application which requires the excel addi-in as part of the
installation procedure. The add-in callsed as "prfxla.xla". The application
was working find for two weeks before, currently we are receving error
everytime when we opened up excel. This is is the error test:

"Compile error in hidden module: Global Macro".

When we tried moving the add-in in the “C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\XLSTART†folder. We have tried moving the add-in to the
“C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Library†folder, but that does
not seem to fix the issue.

Kindly provide an resolution for this issue.

Microsoft Issue - make sure all Office updates are applied

Gopal,
This is a Microsoft issue and happens with other add-ins, not any specific one

1. Make sure ALL Office updates (and possibly Windows updates) are applied to the PC

2. If that doesnt' work and MS Office was upgraded from a previous version, uninstall all MS Office versions, clean up the left over directories and reinstall MS Office latest version only
