Complex Scripts in Fonts?!?!?

I'm hoping someone can help me out with an irritating problem!

I installed Office 2003 a few months ago (from XP). All of sudden, on
Monday, this whole component of "Complex Scripts" appeared in my Font
dialogue box. It's annoying (I use my Font box a lot), and I can't seem to
turn it off. I tried going into the Office Tools Language Settings, and I
got rid of every language except French and Canadian English, and it's still
there. I've not opened any documents with "right-to-left" text in it. I
don't want to try the Office Tools settings again, because it deleted all of
my customization -- and there was a lot of it!!!!

No one else in my office has this appear in the Font dialogue box -- Can
someone help me get rid of it?!?!?

Oh dear - this is a problem that seems to infest computers from time to
time, and no-one seems to know why. The following thread explains how I got
rid of complex scripts. But tampering with the registry is not to be taken
lightly, so be careful.
