As I was saying:
Created a worksheet that has a column of sells with a
simple calculation (=F33-H33+L33+O33+R33+U33+X33+AA33),
but two of the cells are coming back with the error
message #VALUE! I've cut and pasted from other cells to
no avail.

Any thoughts?

Most likely one of your cells in the sum formula have text in them. Even
if they look like numbers, if they were entered as text, XL will treat
them as text. This frequently occurs when you paste data in from outside
sources.

You can coerce text numbers to real numbers by copying an empty cell,
selecting your "numbers" and choosing Edit/Paste Special, selecting the
Add and Values radio buttons.

Most likely cause is that one or more values in those two particular rows are
not numeric, but Text.

Check the contents.

If they look like numbers, try copying a blank cell formatted to number or
general then select your range and Paste Special>Add>OK>Esc.
