Here's my problem: I bought my laptop with Vista Home Premium, then I
upgraded to Vista Ultimate using the Windows Anytime Upgrade Disk (after
shelling out $159 for a license key). I wanted Vista Ultimate so I could use
the "Windows Complete PC Backup" feature which is supposed to make a complete
image of the system disk. I tried to do this and everything seemed OK ... I
used an external USB HDD for the backup and Vista took just 20 minutes to
backup my 43 gigs of files to the backup drive. When I went to look in the
"WindowsImageBackup" folder on the USB drive it said the folder was empty!!!
But when I looked at the amount of free space remaining on the drive it was
approx. 20 gigs less than before I did the backup! Why do I not see anything
when I look in the WindowsImageBackup folder??? Any help is much appreciated
