Does anyone know where I can find a list of compatible printers for Vista
32bit? Preferably Epson or HP.
Thanks.

The best way to find out if a printer is supported is to go to the
manufacturer website.

If the only driver package available for the OS of choice is relatively
small, that suggests an older printer that will only have basic features..
that is to say, there will be no feature to determine ink cartridge levels
etc..

Also look at the release date of the drivers as an indication..

Hi, Jane ... I have the HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-One and it works very
well with my current Vista setup. You will have different hardware/software,
which might affect how this particular model would fit in with your setup.

I have the HP Photosmart C4385 All-in-One Wireless in another room with
another computer. It also works well with the setup I have back there.

Neither one has the fax option ... I didn't need that ... but they both do
very well with copying, scanning and printing.

The other posters are right to tell you to go to the Epson or HP websites to
find what is currently available. Models change all the time ... what I have
might not even be available anymore.

Good luck finding a printer you will like ... vanilla

Thanks for all your help you guys. Just one small question: How do I find
out the release date of printer drivers?
