Having experienced problems with MicroSoft Compatibility Mode (2003 – 2007), I decided to ‘bite the bullet’ and create the whole thing from scratch in 2007 to get rid of any loss of fidelity issues.
Have copied over the data (studiously using the ‘Paste Special’, ‘Paste Value’ options to avoid any transference) and then reformatted everything to dates, percentages, etc as required I found that, upon saving, Excel 2007 decided to change all my dates and percentages to general format.
Patiently I repeated the whole procedure in case it was a once off... of course it repeated it.
Has anyone come across this problem, and if so has anyone found a solution?
