Compatibility of Access97 and Windows 2000

We have recently upgraded our network to Windows 2000 but
are still using Access 97. Several of the multi-user
databases have begun having corruption problems. Is there
a compatibility issue with using Access 97 on a Windows
2000 network (Windows2000 Pro on the client machines)?

No. It's either a hardware issue (new hardware?) or
just a problem with Win2K. Win2K Sp4 is supposed to
have fixed the Win2K file corruption problem: do you
have that on ALL machines?

One possibility may be the "oplocks" problem. See if this helps:
