Comparing like for like with a 53 week year

we report data on a weekly basis, with the week ending on a Tuesday.
We chart the data to show like for like comparisons with same weeks
previous years. How do I enter the data to show a 53 week year (Leap)
to compare with a 52 week year?

The difference between a Leap year and a regular year is 1 day (365 vs
366) not one week.
