Compaq Evo 800v, CPU usage always 100%

I just bought a Compaq Evo 800v notebook.

I don't notice from what time or after installed whice software.
After Windows boot, the CPU usage always 100%, and system speed run very
slow, fun alway run.
notebook come very hot.

My OS is English Win XP Pro and Update to SP1.
CPU: P4M-1.6G

I find after uninstall the Touch pad driver, system turn to working fine
System speed also run very fast.

When Windows Calculator program run, same problem.

Is my notebook hardware problem or software problem?

Current I have job to do, I must wait after 2 mouths to reinstall the whole
system.

Pls help me.

right click on the task bar and choose task manager and look at the second
tab "processes"

see which one is taking up all your CPU time...

if you see the "System Idle Process" is at 99% then that's ok...

Thanks for your replay.

It was "Rundll.exe" always at 98% or 99%

How to settle this problem?

Current I am uninstall the Touch pad driver, yeah, It is "System Idle
Process" at 99%.
