Compact and Repair as explain to me, is a way of defraging you Dbase. if you
go to the properties of your Dbase and look at the actual size, lets say for
example it is 508mb, go to tools>database utilities>compact & repair and
select. Now go back to your properties of your DBase and you will see the
files were compress, and your files should be compress to a small size. As
far as repairing the Dbase, I am sure if that has anything to do with
debugging. But from what I understand, it wont hurt to frequently utilize
this tool.
