Compact Flash Card Reader No Pop Up Window

I have had a compact flash card reader for years. Each time I plug it in to
my USB port a window pops up giving my options (copy to file, view files
etc.). Yesterday I used it and no window popped up. I tried a second one
assuming a defect may have occurred. Nothing. I've rebooted more than a
couple of times. Nothing. I'm thinking I may have disabled something. I am
not very computer savvy therefore I don't know where to start looking. HELP

Try a System restore to a date prior to yesterday? See Windows Start,
Help and Support.

HELP

See if running the Autoplay repair wizard helps.

Thanks, I have tried different restore dates. My computer does not want to restore to a previous date even though it is bold. I cannot go back into December, the computer won't let me.

Go into Disk Management and check the drive letter that is assigned to
the card. It would not normally be "C:" and if you fix the driver letter
assignment you will probably have corrected the problem.
