Hi
I have a question that I hope someone will be able to help me with. I have an application where I utililize the Common Dialog control version 6.0. I believe the OCX file for this is COMDLG32.OCX. I recently got a laptop at work and the version of access installed (Access 2002) doesn't recognize the common dialog control. I copied the OCX file from the old machine to the laptop and then went into "TOOLS, ACTIVE-X CONTROLS" within Access to register it. It still doesn't recognize it. When I'm in design mode for the form and bring up the toolbox and press the "More Controls..." button, the choice for the common dialogue appears (Microsoft Common Dialog Control, version 6.0). When I choose it and try to add it on a form, an error comes up: "The OLE server isn't registered. To register the OLE server, reinstall it". I had the IT people out here for a few hours yesterday and they didn't seem to know how to fix it. Any ideas???? I would really appreciate any thoughts
Thanks a lot
