command to auto export to text or excel

i would like to be able to create a macro or VB script that woud accomplish
this;
a very small access DB needs to be exported to excel or txt on a single
command bar button click. I could try to train the users to use the export
feature, but that seems like to much trouble. It would like to create a
custom toolbar with an icon or clickable word that would take the current
data and dump it into an excel or txt file to a specified directory with no
other users intervention required.

ld-runner,

You would use a TransferText action in your macro to put the data into a
text file, or a TransferSpreadsheet action to put it into an Excel file.
