Holy Guacamole!!! It's working, it's working, it's working!!! Thanks so
much. Okay, I knew it would be something 'dumb'... Because the part
numbers
were "showing" in the first combo box, I wasn't SELECTING a part number...
but when I was following your troubleshooting tips, carefully, I went and
selected a different part number, just for the heck of it... and then the
second combo box populated. THANK YOU so much. Okay... it's working in
that
test database. Now to get it to work in my real database. Thanks Dirk!
:)

You're welcome. With unbound controls, that often happens when you flip
back and forth between form view and design view. A previously selected
value remains in the control, so you don't think to select it again. In
production, that generally doesn't happen because an unbound control will
normally be blank (Null) when the form is first opened (unless you've
assigned it a Default Value), so the user always has to select something.
