Combo Box case sensitivity

I've been having a problem and I think I have a better way of
    describing it....

Simply put i have a combo box that has data in it that has text which
has upper and lower case letters.

Is there a way to turn OFF the case sensitivity of the combo box? (so
the user can type in upper OR lower case letters into the combo box
and the correct data would be returned?

    thanks
    Steve
