When I first starting using my Netscape 4.79 Browser I organized my
Bookmarks; by creating a “Alphabetical Folder Tree†( A-Z ), and inserting or
moving saved Bookmarks into the folders within the A-Z structure.
As I gradually began using IE 6.0 more, and Netscape less, I handed the
organization of my new IE bookmarks in the same way.
However, I then found I had two structurally similar bookmark files, that
differed in terms of specific saved Bookmarks, ( & Folder Names within the
A-Z Folders ).
In an attempt to merge all my Bookmarks into a single “Combined Bookmark
Directoryâ€, I tried importing my Netscape Bookmarks, into Internet Explorer
Favorites.
Now to my chagrin I find my IE Favorites contain, one A-Z directory called
“Bookmarksâ€,( the bookmark file I created in IE ); and another A-Z directory
called “Imported Bookmarksâ€, ( the one I created in Netscape.)
And, I am forever switching back & forth. Saving new ( & looking for old )
bookmarks sometimes under “Bookmarksâ€, sometimes under “Imported Bookmarksâ€.
Please tell me there is there yet some simple way I have missed, ( or maybe
a third party Utility Program I can use ), to get all of my bookmarks ( &
differing Named Folders & Sub-Folders, in the two separate A-Z directories ),
sorted out into a single complete A-Z Bookmark directory?
