Columns

How do you form a 2 column doc showing corresponding text in 2 languages-
example: 3 page summary in English in the Left Column and the translation in
Spanish matching the English paragraph in the right column. Having
difficulty formating whereby Spanish language goes into the English column.

I try my best never to use columns! I would suggest using a two-column
table.

A two-column table is usually recommended for this type of task. Make sure
to break to a new row at the end of every paragraph or some other logical
breaking point; don't let a single row extend longer than a page.
