Column Reports - Urgent

Can anyone help? I have a report to issue today and I can't work out how to
do the following.

I want to display some information in a colum report. In the first column I
have the field headers, and in the second column I have the corresponding
data for a given date. Is it possible to show the next column of data on a
given date in a third column on the same page rather than having another page
with the field headers and the data. This would be useful as I only want to
display the data for two dates - so it would be better on the same page.

I can't do this as a tabular report because there are too many field headers
and they need to go down the page rather than accross. That is unless there
is a way of changing the tabular report so it will put the field headers down
the page?
