ok, i'm running WXP home edition on a gateway mx6121 laptop. as long as i
have had it... it has had a problem, mainly with internet explorer, such that
it does not properly display things such as background images/colors on most
websites, or it will display things only in black and white.. or blue for
links. i thought this was maybe a problem with ie7 so i switched back to
ie6.. and still had the same problem. I then noticed that it has a similar
problem in WMP11. On the menu buttons at the top (now playing, library, rip,
etc...) it displays the text as black on a white background, and that in top
of the black skin of the player. When i first load it up it looks right for a
split-second, and then changes to that display. the stop,play/pause,etc
buttons at the botom also only display in black and white.
I have no idea what could possibly be causing these problems... if anyone
has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated.
