Color Consistency

Is there any way to maintain color consistency in powerpoint presentations?
I create presentations and test them around my office and the colors look
different from screen to screen. And then look totally different when blown
up in a large projection at a conference or large meeting. I understand this
is probably just an issue of calibration of the equipment, but what can I do
to fix it?

Colorizer bunny,

The issue of consistency is not really a powerpoint issue.

Any applications' colors are going to look different from screen to screen,
and certainly when projected and printed.

See

unless every single device has had it's color calibrated through the whole
start to finish process :)

You're correct, it's more of a calibration issue. There is a device that you
can use to "profile" a projector/computer/room combination quickly, then apply
that color profile to your presentation.

The product was originally developed by Gretag/Macbeth but is now owned by
Xrite. Have a look round their site:

Look for terms like "i1 Beamer" or "eye 1" or the like.
