Cokies/Spyware

Dave

I'm running Windows ME 4.90.3000 - Outlook Express 6.0.2800.1123 -
Adaware 6.0.

I am continually finding three Data Miner Tracking Cookies on my
system and when I remove them they are right back the next day when I
scan with Adaware.

These Cookies are:

The last accessed date and time is impossible because my system was
completely shut down at that time. Also, the Creation date and time
for the stopzilla cookie is during a time when my system was complete
shut down.

If I refuse to accept cookies then some of my very important websites
will not function i.e.: Banking and Prescription service.

How can I stop these nuisances from being inserted on my computer?

Dave,
I can't explain the time discrepancies but you should be able to allow other
cookies while blocking those. From Internet Options> Privacy, choose any
setting except Accept all or Block all and the Edit button should become
active. Click the Edit button and you can then block cookies from those
sites.

Hope this helps,
Don

Thank you. I knew that feature was there but didn't know how to use
it. Now, you have made me go to work and do a little studying.

I have set up a list of the sites from whom I will always accept
cookies and have Blocked all others.

When you reach my age it is a little difficult to learn new things . .
.. but, with a lot of help, I am continuing.

Your help is appreciated.
