Codecs to play Mobile video (3GP) and audio (AMR)

I know these codecs are installed by Nokia PC Suite, but I don't use
PC Suite, and won't have it on my system. But I still want to be able
to play video and audio files from Mobile Phones. How do I do that?

Is it possible to install the codecs separatly, or install just the
Media Player part of Nokia Data Suite. Or any other good ideas...

As multimedia and 3G phones get more and more used Windows should be
able to playback files from them (3GP and AMR files), else Windows
isn't keeping up with the developement I think. Anyone?

Also found out that Apple QuickTime plays both 3GP and AMR files.
Allthough the 3GP files have no smoothing (terrible when zoomed).

Media Player 10 also plays 3GP if you force it to open the file, and
the image quality is VERY good (even when zoomed), BUT there is no
sound (probably because Media Player can't decode the AMR sound) :-(

So it seems that the 3GP video support is in Media Player, but you
can't set the file association from Media Player, AND there is need
for an AMR sound decoder for Media Player to hear sound from 3GP.

(now - if I could only get the "check for update" to not be grey :)

I have the latest free real player. That seems to work
on both 3gp and amr!

Check/browse your Nokia Suite installation CD-rom. The Nokia media player is
a standalone app, which you just install by it's self
