Many thanks for your lightening quick response to my query.
I didn't get to wikipaedia. I did a series of changes to my computer including rolling back to Windows Media 10, re-running the jukebox software, system restore etc. I also re-connected the jukebox as I had tried, and failed, to put the music straight into the computer.This took all day at my speed.
Eventually the jukebox worked as well as ever but I've no idea what the problem had been.
