CODEC:KillingJoke

This is from KillingJoke, dated Sept.7,2003, the Google Group is
Alt.Video-Divx, and the subject is Codec: I would like to configure
this and I do not know how. Can i get some help, please? I am
running MS Windows 95, Service Pack Candidate 3. Ideally i would be
able to configure and use the ideas provided by KillingJoke: ADVISE.
Here goes:

"UNINSTALL ALL CODECS YOU HAVE INSTALLED". I.e. don't have any codecs
on your system unless you intend to
rip your own stuff.


You need 3 things to watch AVI files:


ffdshow
ac3filter
and a decent player - BSplayer at www.bsplayer.org


That's it - nothing else, nil, nought, zero else. Ok
