code to simulate hanging indents when pasted into a text file?

Hello All,

I am seeking code to convert text or a document created in Word 2003 to text file but retaining hanging indents and/or numbering. Even better would be code that converts as much as possible into text file format but retaining as much as possible.

I create my documents using Word 2003 and then paste them into a system that is text file based.

TIA,

Gil

I'm not sure you need "code" to do it. Try File - Save as, and see if Text
with Layout is available as an option. If not, then look for "text with
layout" here:

The zip file contains the instructions.
