code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND

Off and on, imtermitently, I get the error that says:
"Bad Gateway
The following error occurred:
Code:
The host name was not found during the DNS
lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by
retrying the URL."

This only occurs when I try to use the WWW in a url. If I drop the WWW, the
site responds normally.

The host jockey tells me there is nothing wrong with their DNS. I've tested
this on two computers. When one computer received the error, I immediately
used another computer - both responded with the error when using the WWW -
but both get the site when dropping the WWW. Then, after a few minutes of
refreshing, one computer could use WWW in the URL and not the other. After
a loinger period, both could use the WWW.

As I stated, the error problem is sproradic and intermitent. Both comps use
I.E. 8.0.2800.1106 Cypher 128 with full service pack and all security
patches, fixes and upgrades.

Causes anyone?

Been there - done that - bought the T-shirt.

Dealing with possible Spyware seems to be the latest generic fad-fix for
most any problem.

It's a DNS problem, related only to issues I pointed to. Spywares and
such are in a totally different arena.

But thanks anyway.
