Whilst recording music, using windows media player
(copying music from the hard drive to a cd), received an
error code 8004021c. As a result, three of the songs were
not transfered to the cd.

Please assist.

Hello Locksley,

I pinged the Windows Media Player group here at Microsoft regarding this
error code and found out what the error description is:

IMAPI_E_DISCFULL

I would hazard a guess that when Windows Media Player is converting your
music to burn to the CD, there is insufficient disc space on the drive
you're caching the converted files to.

I have asked the Windows Media Player group to write up a Knowledge Base
article detailing this error code, as well request the Windows Media Player
development team to consider putting understandable error codes in their
forthcoming products.
