Code 38

[Jerry]

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware
because a previous instance in memeory. Code 38

I had a problem with a Lexmark X83 Printer and I reloaded
the software. Then at that time I got this message in
Device Manager. I have rebooted, uninstalled the driver
and software and reinstalled them.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

Restart the computer

Thanks for the help anyhow, but there just isn't much on
this code. So I think that I'm just going to a repair
with windows and see if this doesn't clear it.

I couldn't find much on that code either. Hope the repair works. I assume just
restarting didn't fix the problem.
