That won't work on my machine here, try this:
go back to properties, set window size and/or screen buffer to the size of
your screen ie. 1024x1280, 1600x1200 . . .
That is not quite the same as being able to
resize the window on the desktop though so
that it can coexist with other windows and
be able to have any widthxheight in size.
However, your reply was useful,
Let me know if there is an app such that
I can resize the cmd.exe and still keep it
on the desktop like xterm on unix.
