Closing Windows in Interactive PowerPoint

I have created an interactive sales tool presentation that has a menu slide
with hyperlinks to other files (PowerPoint). This format works fairly well
except when a user clicks on a link and a separate file (window) is opened,
it doesn't close unless the user physically closes it. After going through
the entire menu, the user could have 10 windows open.

Is there a way to incorporate these links, have the new file open, then
close automatically when another link is clicked?

Also, I will load the presentation onto a memory key/disk. Is there a way
to have the presentation start automatically once it is plugged into a USB
port?

Thanks for any suggestions!
