close all tabs

if i have another IE instance and for other reason y open other IE, when i
exit from this one, yi can only choose to cance or close all tabs,, why y
can't close the 1st without closing the 2nd ?
i think that IE must ask which of the open tabs can be closed
try using online ewido(avg 7.5) and surf for others pages

Hi,
I may not understand the question, but if closing one tab closes all tabs
(and the IE window) or if closing one IE window closes all IE windows, you
may have an incompatible browser add-on.

The troublesome program may not show up as an add-on. Disable other
security, privacy, ad-blocking programs to see if one of them is causing the
problem. Any program that interacts with Internet Explorer could be causing
this. The connection with IE may not be obvious, such as Google Desktop.

A firewall will probably not be causing this problem, but turn on the
Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before disabling a
third-party firewall or security suite.

Thanks solution was to launch the option in Vista IE withouts ads on
