ClipMagic v. 3.2 from www.clipmagic.com has been made freeware. Has
anybody tried this "do everything" clipboard utility and can you comment
on it.

For some time now, I've been using the freeware Yankee Clipper III and
been quite happy with it. However, occassionally, its limitations, such
as quickly finding user names/passwords for site log-in can be quite slow
and comlpex -- and the upgrade path to the shareware Yankee Clipper X
doesn't seem much better.

I just downloaded the now free ClipMagic, but it doesn't appear to be an
easy transition from YC III, learning a complicated do-it-all utility and
moving all my "clips."

Once again, any comments or recommendations???

Thanks!

One great feature is the filter. It allows you to define programs to be
ignored by ClipMagic - recommended if you use a password manager.
