clipboard malfunction

I have tried to use copy/paste function for last 2 days and on the clipboard
following stays permanently despite trying to delete it.
"Copy/paste functionality has been disabled during the survey."
This comes back on clipboard immediately after deleting it and also after
trying to copy any other item it duplicates itself on the clipboard alongwith
the copied item on clipboard. And the copied item in the worksheet is not
highlighted with the moving border anymore.
Did I get some type of virus or spyware intrude in my excel
program(office-xp 2002 version)?

An addin or other workbook has hijacked the paste functionlality.
