Clip art as a back ground

Busy with a presentation. I have the option to use a clip art as a back
ground. I have the option to tile the clip art as a back ground (under format
background). Looks lovely until I save it. When I open it after saving it the
slide has turned black behind the tiled clip art. I want the background to
stay WHITE behind it. HELP!!! Have tried everything I can think of and it
just keeps going black after saving.

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Which file format (extension) does
your ClipArt file have? Does it have transparency? Which color is set as a
background color in the color scheme of the presentation?

Best regards,
Ute

Hello
The default setting is white (blank slide with no design). I have powerpoint
2007. If you go to "format background" it gives you the option to select
clipart as a back ground. Then just under that there is a little box you can
tick if you want to tile the clip art image. The near the bottom of the
format background window it has a little slide? button which says
transparency. You slide it to the right or the left, depending on how dark or
light you want the background to be.

I downloaded the clipart from Microsoft office online. It opens with the
Microsoft Clip organiser. They are all .wmf images

Thank you for your help!
