If some windows are open and I click any application's button on
the taskbar then the new application window is not seen. In order to see it
I have to close all open windowns one-by-one. It seems like the application
is restored but it's window is hiden under all previously opened windows. How
to fix this problem?

Misha,
I am having the same problem. I see this post is from 9-1-05 and no one has
responded, which is not good. If you get an answer, please shoot mean e-mail
if you don't mind. If I find an answer I will do the same.

Thanks

You could try clicking on a different application then back on the
application that you want open.
Or, press Windows+D then open your application.
Or, press Control+Tab and pick your application.

Sometimes this can happen when surfing the net. Sometimes IE will stay on
top while it finishes
loading. Want to explain what programs are running when this occurs with
you?

Bob,
I really appreciate your response. It happens with any programs or folders
that are open. If I have a program or folder open (on top) and then click in
the taskbar to swith to another program that is open behind it, it doesn't
switch and they both are highlighted (blue). If I double-click twice on the
new program/folder, it will switch. It's like they get stuck, and the only
way is to double-click twice in a row to make it switch programs/folders
