clearing RDP login cache of IP addresses

hi all,

Windows XP Pro SP2,

when i go to RDP, the logon panel showed all previously logged IP addresses
of the machines in the network. is there a way to clear these IP addresses?
additionally, is it possible to make it such that every time one logon, the
panel do not display previous IP addresses and user name? i prefer if the
solution does not involved installing third party software, even if it means
dwelving into the registry.

thank you,
jes

I don't think there is a way to not display the last address or login name.
You simply need to run the reg hack to clear the address history each time.
A bit cumbersome and potentially dangerous is the reg hack goes wrong...

Al, thanks for the link. The dreaded MRU lists again!!

I was referred in another forum to a third party shareware that supposedly
cleared all the MRU lists in XP Pro but I have not tried that since I loathe
installing any other softwares bar essentials.

Would you know a Microsoft website repository for a registry list of MRU's
that I can refer to to manually clear the lists? I realised that this might
not be a realistic option (since there could be hundreds if not thousands
such lists) and that I might have to resort to a third party ware, in which
case, do you personally know any MRU lists cleaning softwares?

Thank you,
jes
