Clear all in To Do list - Office Standard 2007

I want to use my Task List, and find a To Do list is inluded, which is a list
of every email that I have ever flagged in the history of the mailbox. It
requires me to open each message and clear the flag. I've tried Select All,
then under Action, Follow Up, Remove Flag, but it freezes and I have to force
quit. I would like to flag items but they are ticklers for me to find more
easily. They don't belong in a To Do List. Now that my To Do List is
populated with years of junk I want to delete and can't, I am unable to use
it of things I want to put on a To Do LIst.
Does anyone know how to clear the whole To Do List at once?
Thanks.

Are you sure that it froze? Depending on the amount of items that you tried
to unflag at once, Outlook can become to appear to be frozen because it is
working that hard on the background. I won't be surprised when it kicked
back alive after 20 minutes. Try it with a smaller batch first.

Yes - I got the message Outlook not responding. Just now I tried to select
only a few, and task manager indicated the same. I can't check boxes or
highlight other than clicking on one at a time. These messages were starred
in Gmail. I've removed the stars there, but it hasn't affected the flagged
status. Also, I haven't received forwarded Gmail since Jan. 16, although I
appear to be able to send test messages.

So are you connecting to Gmail via POP3 or IMAP? That is quite important in
this scenario.

Roady,
I'm connected via IMAP. I want gmail to forward a copy of incoming mail to
my Outlook. Forwarding is on, but I don't know how to find out what my email
address is for Outlook, as I only use the gmail address. I tried the Help
feature in Outlook and in Gmail and can't find it. Can you help?
Thank you.
