In my C:\WINDOWS folder I have a huge amount of
Uninstall file folders accumulated over the last two
years. Most of these folders will be of little or no
interest once the upgrade to which they refer has
proven stable, and many of them are obviously
superseeded by more recent upgrades as well.
I should appreciate some advice for a proper procedure
to clean up my Windows directory by deleting these
folders.
Just removing the folders by brute force is of course a
possibility but that will create several inconsistencies
in the registry (which I can handle with my registry
integrity check and repair utility), but I should rather
prefer to have some recommended procedure that also
maintains the integrity of the registry.
Suggestions anybody?
