Cleaning up

I have always known about cleaning out *.web pages (Service Extensions), but
as I'm using a different set of directions for cleanup, I have come upon a
TEMP directory that includes the FrontPage TempDir. They are not listed as
..tmp, but are .gif, .jpg, .htm., and one .txt. Are these truly temp files
to get rid of? Almost, not all, start with wpe with a 5-digit number. I
think they must be versions of files that were discarded when changes were
made.
They are in this directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\myname\Local Settings\Temp\FrontPageTempDir

That is FP temp files, so all can be delete as long as you do not have any webs open in FP.
