Clean up set of addresses used in automatic address completions

I have the automatic completion of addresses set in my options but I've so
many badly spelled addresses that it now makes the automatic completions not
worth it. Is there a way I can clean up this list?

I've seen this program offered for that purpose, but haven't tried it:

That list holds only the last 29 addresses you sent messages to, including
the misspelled addresses. There's also a separate list, known as the
contacts list, that is easier to edit and holds more than 29 addresses,
but won't do auto-completion.

THANKS!!! This worked perfectly. Next question is can one use the contacts
in the same way other mail systems use addresses or do I have to manually
type in each address - hence more misspelled ones.

One way to add someone to the contacts list is to wait until you get an
email
message from them, open it, then Click Tools, then Add Sender to Contacts.
If you want to select a contact to add to an outgoing mail address list,
start
the outgoing message, don't type any part of the address, and click on To:,
then the contact you want to select, then which address line you want to
copy
then contact's address to.

I believe that the default is to add everyone you send an email reply to, to
your contacts list, though.
