Clean Uninstall?

Irish

I have a new HP laptop for personal home use which came
with Works 7.0 and a 60-day trial verion of Office 2003
installed. Both of these programs are listed in the
Add/Remove Programs list in Win XP Home.

As I am going to install Office Basic 2003 later I want
to uninstall both Works 7.0 and the 60-day trial Office
2003. Can I be assured of a CLEAN uninstall when using
Add/Remove Programs or am I just going to open a huge can
of worms? Does it make any difference which one I delete
first?

Thanks!

Hi ... Whenever you delete something always use the add
and remove programs first and then what i normanlly do
afterward i open windows explorer and search for the
program folder that i just delete and remove it from
there as well , then i go into the recycle bin and remove
it from there as well , once that is done i then restart
the computer ... It shouldn't matter which one you delete
first ...

Sounds normal to me, but what I'm really asking is if
deleting these two programs will cause me any problems
with other applications on the laptop, i.e. removing
files that other programs might need, or will they
uninstall cleanly.
