Clean System?

How do I clean out all the old files and or partial files that I have tried
to download and didn't work right. I ran Tweaknow Reg cleaner and all I got
was items marked in yellow. Not totally safe to delete items in yellow. I
asked Tweaknow what to do and They said being a newbie , best thing I Could
do was to leave it alone. Is there any program that will clean up a system?

No registry cleaner is foolproof.
If you do not know exactly what the file does leave it be.
Registry cleaners can cause more problems than they solve if you do
not know exactly what they are doing.

First when deleting a program always go to control panel add/delete first. If
you failed to do this, reinstall the program then delete it in add/delete. If
the name remains in the add/ remove list it can easily be rmoved via a
regedit.
Click start---run---type in regedit--click OK.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACH_Software\Microsoft\Windows\current
version\uninstall ---highlight and delete.
For an outstanding registry cleaner I suggest JV16 Power tools. Unfortunately
it now costs money.
Sometimes when trash is left you can do a regedit ---find-- key in the program
name and delete there (but be sure you know what you're doing here).
