cipher strength for ie6.0

My laptop is running win2k and I recently put ie6.0 on
it. I know 6.0 is supposed to handle 128-bit encryption,
but when I go to Help/About internet explorer, it lists
the cipher strength as 56-bit. How do I increase it to
128-bit?
