Choices #2

After I've captured - using my USB connection as explained in the post
"Choices #1 - I come to the following screen:

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f244/cooper213/choices.jpg

That's the screen that allows you to choose between "Best Quality for
playback on my computer" or "Other Settings".

The end result will be making a DVD with NeroVision Express2.

Of the choices on the screen linked above, what's the *best* choice
given the end use of making a DVD? I may watch the end result movie
on my computer, but the primary intention is to make a DVD.

And, why?

Can anyone take a crack at answering this?

DVDs typically have MPEG-2 files up at the 3,000 to 6,000 kbps bitrate
level...

Only the DV-AVI choice gets files at a bitrate at or more than that.... the
'best choice' for your computer isn't important if you plan to make a disc
and not watch the video on your computer.

A firewire connection to a DV-AVI file is the choice...
