After I have completed a chkdsk on a system I check in Event Viewer and
everytime it says

Event Source: Winlogon
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1001
Date: 29/04/2005
Time: 2:16:27 PM
User: N/A
Computer: DDS
Description:
Checking file system on C:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Volume label is MAIN.

A disk check has been scheduled.
Windows will now check the disk.
Cleaning up minor inconsistencies on the drive.
Cleaning up 29 unused index entries from index $SII of file 0x9.
Cleaning up 29 unused index entries from index $SDH of file 0x9.
Cleaning up 29 unused security descriptors.
CHKDSK is verifying file data (stage 4 of 5)...
File data verification completed.
CHKDSK is verifying free space (stage 5 of 5)...
Free space verification is complete.


This happens all the time after I run chkdsk

After each scheduled Chkdsk,a report is generated which one can view in
the Event Viewer under Control Panel.
The report which you have provided is a normal one as it doesn't report
any bad sector.

Thos are normal clean up issues and do not indicate a problem with the
drivev.
