chkdisk problem

Hi all.
I have Win/XP Prof SP1, full update.
It is 2 days that I'm not able to run chkdisk on my C disk
When I restart the PC there ia msg like "unable to have direct access to the
disk"

Any idea ?

Rick:

Zone Labs just published the latest update to ZA Pro (don't know about
the free version). The new version is 5.1.

It very definitely fixes the chkdsk problem. Just tested it about 15
minutes ago to make sure.

That has been associated with the version 5.0 of Zone Alarm.
www.zonelabs.com now have a revised 5.1.011 which is claimed to solve
the problem. look in the 'download and buy' comparison table, and
select the version you use to download a new copy to use with your
license
