Chip reset for Epson Color 680

I have the Nomi printerchip reset program for my epson color 680. My friend
has the same printer except it's connected with a USB cable, mine is
connected with a parallel cable. The chip reset program won't work for her
because of the USB cable. Is there a program out there that will work for
her and where, or does she have to go get a parallel cable.

I couldn't get this SSC program to work properly with XP and my
parallel-connected printer. You might try this one (InkLevel v4.03),
it works fine for me, but costs $12.95 for the e-mail download:

Probably best & cheapest method is to use one of these universal Epson
reset gadgets that cost about $8, since you usually remove the
cartridge for refilling. Do a search on eBay under "Epson reset."
