child windows

I can't seem to open child windows, I have to use netscape
6 to post this message. when I hit post a message the
window starts to open, but stops. Also when ever I try to
click a hyper-link e-mail address on a web page IE6 screws
up, and I have to copy and paste.
I've tried to re-install IE6 but it's not working, or helping.

Can't do a re-build of IE6 ?

Please e-mail me any suggestions, as I feel I'll just have
to get used to Netscape.
