I've been trying to find formulas that will help me build
a template for writing cheques that will
1. read the contents in a cell (eg 1203455.30) then
2. split the number into units (eg millions, hundreds of
thousands, tens of thousands, etc),
3. then record - as text - the units in another set of
cells - as they would appear on a commercially printed
cheque and/or
4. record the word ZERO if no number available
5. record the word ZERO if the number is 0 (eg: $101
would be ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ONE ZERO ONE ZERO)
6. record the cents as numbers (eg: 90 if ninety cents
or 09 if nine cents)
7. record the word ZERO if the cents number is 00"
