Check Printer

This may be old hat to some but got a great program from a magazine
cd. Web site has the free download of 1.7mb without the VB files. This
one is a keeper.

Check Printer prints: payee, amount, word amount,
date, memo, signature and notes (i.e. DL# or phone#)
onto a preprinted check.

Only the standard checkbook checks are supported
(6 x 2.75), custom sizes are supported in Business Edition.
Built-in Layout Editor supports a wide range of printers
and check layouts. A sample check layout is included.

I use one called "Check Printer", got it here I believe. Sounds like that
may be the same one.

A tip. Neither of my printers, either the inkjet or the laser will print
anything smaller than 3 inch. Take a pair of needle nose pliers or whatever
and remove the staples at the top of your bound checks. Leaving the
perforations on them, they are 3 inches and work fine. Tear the
perforations off after they are printed if you want to but I just leave them
on.

Yes, sounds like same one. He has a bunch of sites listed for the program.
Have a HP Laserjet 5mp and worked for my Irish Euro checks so will
keep your tip in mind about the performations. Thanks
